While a partner in central London firm Kingsford Stacey Blackwell from 1986 to 2004, I acted in a variety of (sometimes high profile) Employment Tribunal Claims before going on to found what became one of the largest Personal Injury departments in the country - KSB Claims. Within Box Legal I now deal with legal issues, client liaison, contracts, pricing and product innovation. I have 2 grown up children and can often be seen pottering in our family boat on the Thames.

I qualified as a lawyer in 1997 and am a former partner with Kingsford Stacey Blackwell solicitors, based in Lincoln's Inn. Over the years I have developed an expertise in work flow with particular specialism in Proclaim case management programming. I have three young children who keep me on my toes.
In my spare time I keep fit and play football once a week with the dads from my son's school. I am also a keen skier and water-skier.

As I am now a mum of two, for the last 3 years I have been a part time Assistant Accounts Manager supporting the financial director of Box Legal. Our team in Legal Support handle all legal queries and liaise between our panel firms and insurer. We also keep an eye on any relevant changes in legislation and case law which is reported on our blog and updated on our case database. I additionally help on the marketing side by meeting new firms to give details of the After Event Insurance products we offer. When not at work I like to cycle and run and have been known to try my hand at the odd Triathlon.

I have spent the last Twenty years working with Solicitors firms, Insurance Companies, Service and work providers. I am a Lawyer by Trade but happiest when mixing The Law with Business. I will always look for a way to make something happen rather than a reason for it not to happen.
I have a particular interest in Employment Law, having developed Before the Event Insurance policies and managed relationships and cases with Employment Solicitor Firms across the UK. I have also worked closely with individual claimants and businesses within the Employment Law Sector.
I strongly believe that a relationship has to work both ways and I am always looking to develop and uncover suitable work opportunities for our Solicitor Clients.
I enjoy nothing more than a day at the races, going to see a band or any other excuse to catch up with friends, family and colleagues in a sociable setting.

My role within Box Legal is Chief Cashier, responsible for processing all payments received and dealing with any queries arising. I have previously worked in the Premium Skincare Industry and Property Management mainly in administrator roles. I have 2 boys who love sports and hence keep me very busy. I too, am a keen fitness enthusiast and can always be found at the gym in my spare time which is probably a good thing as I’m equally passionate about cooking and love coming up with new healthy and tasty meal ideas.

I began working as a game developer over 20 years ago but have focused primarily on online web development for the last 10 years. The web applications I have developed have run on the websites of over 72 football clubs in the UK.
I'm a keen fan of football, badminton, motorsport and cycling and spend much of my spare time on my bike.
